Wehrmacht winteer boots "WachStiefel"
A pair of "heavy" Wehrmacht winter boots. So-called "Wachstiefel". Constructed of solid brown felt. Leather straps.
These boots are really big and will be a very interesting conversation piece.
"Paul Otto" maker marked and dated "1942" inside.
One of the boots have a clock painted on the sole, probably done to remember all the time spent in the very cold weather in Russia were most of these were used.
The boots have the same construction but appears not to be exactly the same size. We are not sure how exact the manufacturing process were.
Note that these type of boots were worn over your standard issue boot. That's the reason for the large size.
