In Silver, a Maltese cross in red enamels with a white enamel cross in the center, reverse is plain, surmounted by a Second Republic-style Austrian national eagle circumscribed by state shields, measures 46.2mm (w) x 63.8mm (h), weighs 27.0 grams, worn on a correct triangular ribbon, enamels intact, in excellent condition.
Contained in its original case, red leatherette exterior, impressed with Austrian emblem on the lid, interior lid marked ANTON REITTERER, base features a black velvet recessed medal bed, measures 75mm (w) x 130mm (h) x 27mm (d), hinge and clasp functional, in excellent condition.
