Finnish WW2 6-place medal bar
A very nice medal bar that comes from an estate in Lund, Sweden, meaning that the receiver was a either from Sweden or a Finn that moved to Sweden after the war. Medal bar came mounted on the blue velvet board that you see on the pictures.
The medal bar consists of the following awards.
All awards are in excellent condition, no enamel damages.
1. Finnish WW2 Cross of Liberty - 1941, 4th class with swords(active fighter).
2. Finnish WW2 Medal of Liberty 2nd class 1939
3. Finnish WW2 Winter war medal
4. Finnish WW2 Continuation War Commemorative Medal 1941-1945
5. Finnish WW2 Winter war 1939-40 campaign cross - Kainuu. Rare to find with the original frosted silver silver finish on the front.
The center shows a bear with a sword and shield. The dates of 1939 and 1940 encompass the bear and fir leaves.
Originally given only to those soldiers who had seen combat in actions in the Kainuu region.
Cross is the early wartime issue.

Given those who served in VII Army Corps during Continuation War . A very hard to find cross!! Early version.
