Austria - Hungary empire WW1 Officer's shako cap badge.
The Austrian-Hungarian empire was allied with the Germans as you know and fought together.
Double eagle with a crown, FJI on the breast of the eagle for Franz Josef I. Meaning that this cap insignia is not made later than 1918.
Quite hard to find. Condition is excellent. All for prongs on the back are still there. Probably brass.
Size approx 95 x 85 mm.
