A 1934 2nd Nationalsozialistische Werbe Messe, Braune Messe, Deutsche Woche Karlsruhe badge (15.9-1.10.1934)
The Braune Messe was a boycott against purchasing goods from Jewish owned businesses. It started after the Machtergreifung (nazi seizure of power Jan 30 1933) and soon became an organized event in Germany where tinnies might be purchased by the population to show their support.
Stamped brass with a silver wash.
Roughly 47x32 mm.
Badge is in excellent condition, NO corrosion or similar. Some light patina that can be removed if you want. It look a lot better in hand.
