DDR, NVA LSK Airforce Fighter Pilot Major service uniform jacket
Uniform jacket for an officer serving as a fighter pilot within the East German Airforce. The shoulder boards indicate the rank of Major.
On the jackets left side is a 7-piece ribbon bar for 20+ years of loyal service as well as a Kampforden i Bronze, several merit medals and a Waffenbrüdershaft-medal in Gold. On the right side a Sportabzeichen in Silver and a qualification clasp for Airforce Pilot, 3rd class, with additional hanger for 500 flight hours. The hanger have a red background, indicating service as a fighter pilot.
