German WW1/2 Verbandstelle (Field first aid) sign
This is a type of sign that was used during WW1 and WW2.
Verbandstelle (or Verbandplatz) is a German term for a military post or medical post.
These places were used to provide first aid to wounded soldiers before they were transported to hospital.
Size roughly 16 x 24 cm
Made of magnetic pressed sheet metal with a painted surface.
It show some wear and patina but in our opinion displays very well.
It's maker marked down right J. Ed. Wunderle from Mainz. A manufacturer that still is active today.
A very hard to find sign.
