K98 short dress Bayonet
Maker Marked Hörster.
This is the short version, approx 34 cm in total.
These short bayonets were issued to NCO's(the longer for enlisted men).
Blade is in near mint condition. No issues.
Grip plates without any cracks.
Crossguard and pommel in excellent condition.
Note that on the back of the pommel there was from the beginning the owners initials removed. You can still see traces of the engraving, this was unfortunately removed.
Standard painted scabbard in near mint condition.
Except from the note above this bayonet is in excellent ++ to near mint condition.
