Swedish FM/52s experimental Combat Knife
1952 there was a demand for a fighting knife from the Airborne forces. The very first knife was called FM/52S. It was produced by Pontus Holmberg in Eskilstuna.
Pontus Holmberg factory in Eskilstuna made their own almost exact copy of the third pattern of US M3 knife.
It marked on the crossguard with FM/52S and P.H 1952. Scabbard is marked FM/52 P 1952.
This is an extremly rare knife and therfor a Swedish publishing company made exact copies of the original. This is one of them.
The difference is that there is no 3 crowns marking.
It's a very good knife and you can use for it hunting if you want or just in a display until you find the early version.
