German WW2 Police / Schutzpolizei NCO's Tschako
An original German WW2 Polizei Gendarmerie NCO Shako 1936 pattern, worn by rural police.
The shako is constructed in molded, black vulcan fibre body with green wool exterior and two ventilation holes situated on each side, complete with a brown lacquered leather peak and chin strap.
The front of the shako is complete with large aluminum Police Eagle, with the National tri-color cockade above.
The inside of the police shako is very nice, liner is complete, no damages, stamped 1939 on the inside of the leather.
The interior crown of the Shako has a printed manufacturers label with red and yellow script that includes the manufactures name and location, “Erel Berlin”, and, “Fiber-Tschako”, (Fibre-Shako). Size marked 57,5. and “Robert Lubstein Berlin”.
Overall, this is an excellent item very good condition which would make a great display. There is no neck guard.
