Soviet GP-5 Gas mask
Complete set with mask, filter, hose and bag.
Overall good condition. Mask with some discoloration but with soft rubber without damages. The filter appears to be of Polish manufacture. The GP-5 was exported in large quantities to countries within the Warsaw Pact and was used by, among others, the armed forces of the Peoples Republic of Poland.

The GP-5 (Гражда́нский Противога́з-5) was used in service between 1962-1992. It saw extensive use within both the army and civil defense and was used in the war in Afghanistan but also in connection with the Chernobyl disaster.
