Soviet Order of Labour Glory
The Order of Labour Glory was a Soviet civilian award created on January 18th, 1974 by the decision of the Praesidium of Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Closely modelled on the Order of Glory, it was meant to be its civilian counterpart, awarded for exceptional labour achievements. It also gave a certain number of material benefits to their owners, such as pension raises or free travel in city transports.

This is a single piece construction, type 2 award. It is constructed of silver and enamels, with gold gilding applied to the laurels on the lower half of the medal. Some patina is present.
Enamel is in excellent condition. Original ribbon and mount.
