DDR, NVA Infantry Oberstleutnant parade uniform
Parade uniform for a high ranking officer serving within the motorized infantry of the NVA, the East German army. The shoulder boards indicate the rank of Oberstleutnant.
On the jackets left side is an 8-piece medal bar with medals for 5, 10, 15 & 20 years of loyal service, Verdienstmedaillen in bronze, silver and gold aswell as a Kampforden in bronze. On the jackets right side is a general qualification clasp, 3rd class aswell as a Militärakademie „Friedrich Engels“ officers graduation badge, 1970´s enameled version.
Older style "NVA"-marked visor cap manufactured in 1981.
This rare and complete set comes with uniform jacket w. awards, trousers, parade lanyard and belt, shirt, tie and visor cap.
Good condition with normal traces of wear!
