DDR, 1960´s NVA Infantry Oberleutnant Black collar service uniform
Black/Dark collar service uniform for an Oberleutnant within the motorized infantry of the East German army (NVA).
Black closed collar with five buttons and collar loop w. catch. Machine-sewn collar tabs with embroidered details. Sleeves without coloured piping. On the jackets left side is a 3-piece older style cloth ribbon bar with awards for 5 years of loyal service within the KVP (Kasernierte Volkspolizei, precursor to the NVA), aswell as 5 and 10 years loyal service within the NVA. On the jackets right side is a 1960´s Leistungsabzeichen der NVA.
The tunic is marked IV K = produced during the 3rd quarter of 1968. Pants produced in 1970. The visor cap, in a much desired large size, is produced in the 1980´s, but with a period cap cockade. Works well on display!
Included is: Uniform jacket w. awards, pants and visor cap.
(Leather belt is not included, but can be found online if needed.)
