Texte: RAF is an anthology with, among other, texts by members of the Rote Armee Fraktion (RAF).
Printed by the Swedish publisher Bo Cavefors in October 1977 and exported to Germany from December 1977. From march 1978, the book was confiscated by German authorities as part of the growing measures against the RAF and its sympathizers.
Planning for the release began at the end of 1976 (before the German Autumn terrorist attacks). The plan was to publish the 600-page book as a joint edition of the Verbandes des linken Buchhandels "VLB" (Left-wing Book Trade Association). However, despite intensive discussions at a national meeting of the VLB in May 1977, this cooperation did not come about.
Instead, the book was printed in Sweden by publisher Cavefors, who was heavily criticized for the release. The publisher went bankrupt shortly thereafter, partly because of the uproar surrounding the book.
