The Military Service Medal is presented to an active member of the Military Order of the Stars & Bars who have served US honorably in one of our military services. Qualifying service for the Military Service Medal is the same as that established by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Please see the Veterans of Foreign Wars Eligibility requirements for full criteria that must be met as these are periodically updated and amended. Applications must be approved by the MOS&B War Service Committee.
