Belgian WW1 Civic decoration 1914-1918
WW1 Civic Cross for War Merit, I Class(Gold Class - gilt) with Crossed Swords and 1914-1918 Clasp.
The award was instituted in 1918 by the Belgian Government, in 5 classes (2 crosses & 3 medals), to recognize meritorious wartime service to Belgium, by civilians and non-combatants.
This is the miniature version. Total height incl the ribbon, 60 mm.
Near mint condition.
A rather hard to find miniature of a well known award.
