Finnish Winter war medal with Swords 'MANTSINSAARI'.
This is one of the hardest clasps to find!
Excellent condition. Magnetic, blackened metal.
Front shows a Finnish solider, dressed in winter camouflage, firing his rifle, on the left and right side are emblems for Finlands different regions, at the bottom 1939/1940 and at the top a crown with two arms holding sword. Reverse says "Kunnia Isänmaa" (For the fatherland).
Complete with a campaign bar "MANTSINSAARI" and swords(awarded to a front soldier).
This clasp was awarded to the coastal artillery and infantry defending Mantsinsaari Island on Lake Ladoga.
