German WW2 German WW2 Waffen-SS visor cap eagle
Unissued condition, mid to late war production.
The eagle is easy to identify and was produced by the company Assmann & Söhne.
Assmann was a big supplier for all type of metal insignia to Carl Halfar.
The finish on these are normally fully faded but in this case a good amount remain. Hard to show it on the photo though.
Only a couple of SS eagles were found with the other items. We got one of these.
