Sorry very difficult to make a good scan, in hand this is a very good looking badge, not at all as sad as it look on the pictures.
The Sonnenwende (Summer Solstice) was celebrated on an annual basis.
The biggest celebration was held at the Thingstätte in Heidelberg, in a theatre designed by Jospeh Goebbels, but the event itself was celebrated in theatres in all of Europe.
Made of silver washed sheet metal.
