Made of heavy die struck brass, very nice gold wash.

History:
German name: (Ehrenzeichen für Mitglieder der Feuerwehren nach 25 jähriger Dienstzeit).
The Fire Fighter’s Long Service Clasp was established on June 24, 1884 by King Ludwig II. In was conferred upon individuals in recognition of 25 years of loyal and exemplary fire service. The clasp was awarded with a certificate and did not have to be returned after the recipient's death. This clasp was discontinued after 1918.
