We got this and all other items from a house cleaning in Germany some months ago. See last picture. Only the described item is included in the sale.
We can't tell if all are from the same person or not but the estate was in Bavaria and several items have a connection with München and Nürnberg.
In our opinion this was the estate from a former SA member. Look at the early leather baton, these were often used by SA in the early

This is a hard to find award that was only issued a couple of times each year.
Condition is near mint, although very shiny so hard to make a good photo.

The case is something that is really hard to find. 100% matching and in near perfect condition.
This is an old award that changed its look over the years, this is the WW2 version.
It was all started by A. G. Mascher (1826-1903) who was a pharmacist at the Munich Municipal Hospital. In 1886, he donated 3,000 Reichsmarks to the city of Munich. The interest on the capital was to be used to award one gold and three silver medals annually to deserving servants.
