War merit cross first class 1939 with swords(Kriegsverdienstkreuz).
Marker marked '1' for the company Deschler & Sohn Munchen.
This is an early cross that saw action.
Cross is made of silver washed buntmetal.
Overall condition is good with a very nice patina.
Catch may have been replaced, hard to tell. It has the same patina as the cross, so if replaced it was most likely done during the war.
Would be perfect in a display or on a uniform.
