SA Sportbadge in bronze
We got this and all other items from a house cleaning in Germany some months ago. See last picture. Only the described item is included in the sale.
We can't tell if all are from the same person or not but the estate was in Bavaria and several items have a connection with München and Nürnberg.
In our opinion this was the estate from a former SA member. Look at the early leather baton, these were often used by SA in the early Kampfzeit days.
Excellent condition, look a lot better in hand.
Marked '796271' Berg & Nolte, Ludenscheid Eigentum D.S.A Sportabz Hauptstelle'.
This is the second model introduced February 15th 1935 and was in production until December 1938. From 1937 they were not individually marked so we can date this badge to 1935-1936.
