German WW2 Luftwaffe EM's M42 Greatcoat
Luftwaffe EM's M42 Greatcoat (Wachmantel).
The Greatcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier.
The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations.
Heavy quality Luftwaffe-grey woolen construction greatcoat, it is fully lined with black lining material.
It has two rows of six front closure buttons and the greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline.
The greatcoat is in very good used condition showing some normal traces of usage. No damages or holes.
The shoulder straps indicate that the soldier was a Medic. These straps are rather hard to find on it's own.
On the left arm there is a sleeve badge indicating the rank of Obergefreiter.
Nicely marked on the inside. You can easily see that it was manufactured in Karlsruhe.
Nice original heavy quality M42 Luftwaffe greatcoat!
