German WW2 Berlin 1936 Olympic money saving bell
Note: Because of the shiny white suface it is very hard to take good detailed photos.
Things like this was sold around the event, just like they sell different merch today.
This crisp white glazed porcelain charity collecting box (shaped like a bell with a coin slot on top and a removable wooden base plug) was produced to commemorate the historic XI. Olympic Games in Berlin, August 1-16, 1936.
Features raised, detailed white-on-white relief moldings around the body depicting the Berlin Olympic bell, the Brandenburg Gate, the Olympic rings, and the national eagle
Embossed along the lower rim with the official dates "11. Olympische Spiele Berlin 1.-16. August 1936" alongside oak leaves and 2 swastikas.
Maker marked “Erzeugnis der Porzellanstadt Gelb, Bayer Ostmark”.
Excellent condition.
