This is a very large and highly decorative shooting award in the shape of a box with a soldier in plaque mounted on top of the lid.

Box is of high quality the outside have a hammered pattern and with a wooden insert.

We added some iron crosses on the frst picture for you to better understand the size.

Width 23,5 cm x 14, height 7,5 cm.

The mounted plaque is around 12 cm and is not magnetic.

Below the soldier plaque is the following inscription "1 PREIS UFFZ SCHIESSEN 6/PZ.R.2 15.8.1936".

In our opinion  one of the best prize awards that we have seen.

Panzer regiment was part of  the 1st Panzer-Division (short: 1. Pz.Div. German: 1. Panzer-Division, English: 1st Tank Division) and was an armoured division in the German Army during World War II.

The division was one of the original three tank divisions established by Germany in 1935. It took part in pre-war occupations of Austria and Czechoslovakia and the invasions of Poland in 1939 and Belgium and France in 1940. From 1941 to 1945, it fought on the Eastern Front, except for a period in 1943 when it was sent for refitting to France and Greece. At the end of the war, the division surrendered to US forces in Bavaria.
