German WW2 Eagle desk decoration
These desk decoration were often gifts to the commanding officer or a prize for an achievement.
This particular eagle was found by a picker friend with other WW2 related items during a house clearance.
The eagle is probably made of bronze but could also be bronze washed.
The base is the typical you see on most other similar items, looks like marble.
From wing to wing it's 16 cm and from the base to the top 12 cm, so easy to put in a display.
Overall condition is excellent. Note that one of the two screws going into the feet of eagle is a little bit loose, the threads are working, so it probably need to be tightened a bit. We leave it as it is.
