German WW2 Wehrmacht Map Case
A very good example of a pre war German Wehrmacht Map Case produced in a brown pebbled leather generally associated with use in tropical regions or by the Luftwaffe.
Possibly dating from the mid 30’s it is interesting to note that the Case flap is closed by a “Tuck Tite” sprung catch which carries commercial patent numbers to allow for overseas contract sales.
Overall condition is very good. The Case opens the usual pockets for the map reading instruments.
There is several stamps and writing on the inside.
