German WW2 SS Julgabe der Chef des SS-Wirtschaftsverwaltungshauptamtes – Julfest 1941 Allach Julteller
An rare and historic piece of Third Reich SS memorabilia, a very nice original porcelain presentation plate issued for the Julfest of 1941. These special plates were gifted to SS members by the SS Main Economic and Administrative Office (SS-Wirtschaftsverwaltungshauptamt).
Oswald Pohl was an SS-Obergruppenführer and the head of the SS-Wirtschafts-Verwaltungshauptamt (WVHA)—the SS Main Economic and Administrative Office.
In his powerful administrative role, Pohl oversaw the commercial and industrial enterprises run by the SS, which included the Porzellan Manufaktur Allach. Furthermore, because the plates were official Julgaben (winter solstice gifts) distributed directly through his administrative office (SS-Wirtschaftsverwaltungshauptamt), Pohl was the central authority behind their commissioning, production, and distribution to selected SS members.
The diameter is approximately 25,5 centimeters.
Features hand-painted green botanical artwork depicting snowdrops in the center, bordered by evergreen fir boughs, a stylized star motif, and the inscription "JULFEST 1941" at the top rim.
The reverse side bears thestamp: "Julabe des SS-Wirtschaftsverwaltungshauptamtes" accompanied by the ALLACH runes logo.
An increasingly scarce artifact of elite Third Reich porcelain art, highly sought after by advanced collectors of Allach and SS organizational history.
As you can see there is a defect on the lower part, still it's fully complete and will display very nice.
