German WW1/WW2 close combat / fighting knife

A very nice combat knife.

A variety of boot knives carried over from the Great War or the 1920’s and 30’s found their way into the fields of WW2. Many of these issued or privately purchased items were passed down from father to son, or carried by the same soldiers in two world wars.

This is a knife manufactured by Demag with Prussian inspection stamp on the other side.

Demag stands for Deutsche Maschinefabrik firm of DUISBURG.

Scabbard is in excellent condition, the black paint is excellent(could be a repaint). The leather is still and is soft. The leather strap around the grip work perfect, the knife sit tight in the scabbard.

Handle in light brown wood, no damages.

Blade is excellent condition, with an almost grey finish remember it's close to 100 years old.
