German WW2 Army/Heer M43 combat cap

Not very often you find a nice worn M43 with metal insignia.

Most likely tailor or field made.

There are no other holes from for example a sewn on insignia or cockade.

The metal eagle matches perfectly with the cap and in our opinion it's was always there.

The last photos show other M43 caps with metal insignia, most without a cockade.

Normally these caps without silver piping was for enlisted men but as the pictures show even higher ranking would have worn these.

Extra nice to see that it's named on the inside "Seidel, W  XX/XX Rgt 99", a bit hard to read so you be the judge.

We found one Wilhelm Seidel which can be a match https://www.tracesofwar.com/persons/18547/Seidel-Wilhelm-Infanterie-Regiment-84.htm

Cap is worn but there are no damages. Would look amazing with a field worn uniform.

The last pictures show how it would look with a cockade. We will include these two for free.
