German WW2 Officer’s M43 Cap
German Heer officers upgrade M43 field cap.
Factory produced example in typical mid-war feldgrau wool.
Cap is a period officers upgrade from an enlisted mans cap.
The silver pipping has been nicely hand applied.
The original factory machine stitched « BeVo » trapezoid insignia remain in excellent conditon.
The exterior of the cap is excellent, with just one small hole that we can find, It's on the top and is not visual when displayed.
The interior is textbook construction. Lined in a dark forest green rayon / linen blend material.
Nicely ink stamped with the RBNr « 0/0263/0011 », year of production « 1943 » and nicely sized « 58 » (large).
A really nice and interesting cap that is rarely if ever encountered.
