SS combat belt buckle and belt.

We normally have belts available if you need, just ask!

Die-stamped steel body displaying the iconic SS eagle and motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue".

Clear, deeply struck RODO maker hallmark under the catch hook.

Complete with original steel two-prong bar assembly and catch catch mechanism intact.

Very good combat-used condition. Features natural age patina and honest surface wear to the front face while preserving residual original field-grey finish on the reverse.

Sharp detail remains on the eagle, lettering, and wreath.

This style buckle was adopted for wear by EM/NCO personnel in late 1931 or early 1932. Generally the early buckles were produced in solid nickel/silver until sometime in 1936 when aluminum alloys replaced the nickel/silver versions. In 1940 the EM/NCO's belt buckles began to be manufactured in steel replacing the aluminum alloy buckles.

With this in mind we can date this buckle to after 1940.
