SS combat belt buckle and belt.
Reverse is clearly stamped O.&C. ges. gesch. along the edge, confirming manufacture by the premier firm Overhoff & Cie in Lüdenscheid.
A sought-after early-pattern SS belt buckle struck in heavy nickel silver (Neusilber).
This style buckle was adopted for wear by EM/NCO personnel in late 1931 or early 1932. Generally the early buckles were produced in solid nickel/silver until sometime in 1936 when aluminum alloys replaced the nickel/silver versions. In 1940 the EM/NCO's belt buckles began to be manufactured in steel replacing the aluminum alloy buckles.
So we can date this buckle from around 1931-1936.
Overall condition is excellent. Show some light wear and patina.
