Up for sale is an original Vietnam War era South Vietnamese (ARVN) / Regional Forces scout reconnaissance patch, as worn by local strike teams and US Military Advisors.

Striking skull and crossbones motif inside a black shield insignia.
MACV / Special Forces Connection: While created for local ARVN recon units, patches like this were frequently worn by U.S. MACV Advisors and Special Forces (Green Berets) assigned to these provincial sectors to display unit affinity alongside indigenous troops.
It was sewn to the breast pocket as the last picture show.
Classic period in-country screen-printed/stenciled execution on raw, un-issued tan cotton canvas.
Excellent unsewn condition with strong ink bleed-through visible on the reverse. Features typical untrimmed canvas edges with minor fraying, exactly as made.
