Iron Cross second class 1914.
Maker marked EW for the maker Emil Wichmann.
A hard to find cross.
Excellent condition, perfect pitch black core and very nice frame, perfectly patinated.
Three-piece construction. Magnetic center.
A very nice black case, the small silk ribbon holds the ribbon, the white insert is factory cut out to fit the cross.
This type of case is most like manufacted during the early 1920's. They are well documented.
