Two nice award documents issued to the same soldier.

This unit fought both on the western and eastern front, since there often was a bit of delay before the award was issued it could have been awarded for action both in France and on the eastern front.

2. General Assault badge. Issued in April 1944.

At this point he served in Artillerie regiment 190, this unit saw action in Tunis(Afrika) and Italy. This unit was then transferred to the 90th Panzer Grenadier Division.

We have not identified the Major who signed it.
