German WW2 Infantry Regiment 199 "List" - Oberfeldwebel Josef Eichner

Here is a nice group to a soldier who was part of the Infantry Regiment 199.

This regiment is better known as Infanterie Regiment List.

This infamous unit was the very regiment Adolf Hitler served in during the first world war and was one of the only Heer units to receive a regiment name and cufftitle.

There is a lot of information to read about this Regiment, easy to google....

The group consists of the following document.

1. Christmas card, "Christmas with Infantry Regiment List Dec 25 1939", large size 30x20.

2. Promotion document, Josef Eichner was promoted to Oberfeldwebel, Oct 27th 1941. large size 30x20.

3. DRA badge award booklet, standard issue with photo of Josef on the inside. Completly filled in. 15 x 20 cm

4. Westwall award document. Issued 1940. Signed by the commander and Oberst, later Generalmajor Heinrich-Anton Deboi, Knights cross receiver etc, later commander and captured in Stalingrad. 15x 20 cm

5. Iron cross second class award document. July 1941. Signed by Knight's Cross receiver and commander of 57. Infanterie-Division Generalleutnant Oskar Blümm 15x 20 cm

6. Wound badge in black award document. November 1941. Signed by the Chief doctor of a army hospital. 15x 20 cm

7. Infantry assault badge award document.Dec 1941. Signed by the commander and Oberst, later Generalmajor Heinrich-Anton Deboi, Knights cross receiver etc, later commander and captured in Stalingrad. 15x 20 cm  15x 20 cm

8. Wound badge in silver award document, preliminary/field made version. 15x 20 cm. Signed by the Chief doctor of a army hospital. 15x 20 cm

9.  Wound badge in silver award document.  By an unknown major. 15x 20 cm

All documents in very good condition!

Unfortunately the Wehrpass and awards were sold separatly on Ratisbon before we could get it all.
