German WW2 Iron Cross award document - Gebirgsjäger
Here is something you will probably never see again.
It's award document issued to Gebirgsjäger Lorenz Lorenzen.
The document was issued shortly after the Battle of Küstrin started, a really hard battle for the Germans, there is a lot to read for example here https://warhistory.org/@msw/article/kustrin-1945-part-i
The document is signed by Kapitän zur See(a Kriegsmarine captain) and stamped 1 Zerstörergeschwader 52 which was a LW unit.
So you have a Gebirgsjäger soldier getting a LW document signed by a KM captain in the middle of fierce fighting!!!
