German WW2 Ober inspektor Walter Staack - Military administration paper group

Walter Staack belonged to the Military administration and was part of the Wirtschafts-Straßen-Transport-Brigade.

The Wirtschafts-Straßen-Transport-Brigade which would roughly translate to "Economic Road Transport Brigade ", we are not sure if this the correct therm though.

He was born in the German town Greifswald but as the documents show he served in Estonia, at least until 1944.

The group consists of the following documents.

1. War merit cross 2nd class with swords, dated Jan 30th 1944. Signature by Eduard Wagner who participated in the 15 July 1944 Assassination Attempt on Hitler. He was put to trial but commited suicide.

2. Austerungsschein(Service rejection), says he wasn't fit for military duty, this is interesting since we know he later became an officer, although not a fighting unit.

3. Deutschen Jagdschutz-Verbandes(German Hunting association), hunting permit. Note that the text is both in German and Estonian and valid for Ostland(eastern territories). A very hard to find document.

4.  Deutschen Jagdschutz-Verbandes, document that says he passed is hunting exam. Again issued in Estonia.

5. Photo of Walter Staack in full uniform.

6. Amnesty paper, indicating that he was free person, dated 1947.

7 . Passport showing he was a permanent worker and had access to all installations. Dated 1948.

8. Passport showing he had permit to enter the Allianz house and the Lurgi House. Dated 1947.

9-10-11. Motor vehicle permit, 3 of the same kind, dated 1947-1948.

12. Passport showing he had permit to enter USFET HO, BLDG. USFET (United States Forces, European Theater) was headquartered in the I.G. Farben Building (also known as the Poelzig-Bau or the General Creighton W. Abrams Building) in Frankfurt, Germany. Signed by Cornelius E. Ryan.
