Finnish Winter war medal with Swords 'POHJOIS-KARJALA'.
Excellent condition. Magnetic, blackened metal.
Front shows a Finnish solider, dressed in winter camouflage, firing his rifle, on the left and right side are emblems for Finlands different regions, at the bottom 1939/1940 and at the top a crown with two arms holding sword. Reverse says "Kunnia Isänmaa" (For the fatherland).
Complete with a campaign bar "POHJOIS-KARJALA" and swords(awarded to a front soldier).
This is clasp is considered rare.
Given for soldier fightning in frontier POHJOIS-KARJALA area. POHJOIS-KARJALA means North Karelia.
