Finnish Winter war medal with 'KOTIJOUKOT'.
Medal is near perfect. Clasp, sword and ribbon with some light patina.
Front shows a Finnish solider, dressed in winter camouflage, firing his rifle, on the left and right side are emblems for Finlands different regions, at the bottom 1939/1940 and at the top a crown with two arms holding sword. Reverse says "Kunnia Isänmaa" (For the fatherland).
Complete with a campaign bar "KOTIJOUKOT".
The Kotijoukot clasp was awarded to members of the Civil Guard, Lotta Svärd, Civil Defence and other persons who assisted on the home front.
