Waffen-SS visor cap skull/totenkopf
Maker marked 'RZM 52' for Deschler.
This is a RZM transitional-period manufactured badge, meaning that it was produced 1933-1935. After 1935 badges were marked RZM M1/52 instead of RZM 52.
Made of cupal. So-called "big 52" type.
Condition: Skull has been used for sure. At some point the prongs probably snapped off and instead it was sewn to the visor cap. Maybe it was used on a SS crusher cap and got stuck to something. Except for this it's a nice used one.
These are normally very expensive, often 1700-2000 euros if they have both prongs.
Would be a great in any collection or perhaps if you restore a SS cap.
