SA/NSDAP/HJ/SS Visor cap eagle
We got this and all other items from a house cleaning in Germany some months ago. See last picture. Only the described item is included in the sale.
We can't tell if all are from the same person or not but the estate was in Bavaria and several items have a connection with München and Nürnberg.
In our opinion this was the estate from a former SA member. Look at the early leather baton, these were often used by SA in the early Kampfzeit days.
This type of eagle is not specific to one single branch. These are mostly seen on SA Kepis and HJ Leader visors. NSDAP is also an option, although they mainly wore the gilt version after 1938. You will even find them on SS visors on occasion. There are period photos that will show this type of eagle for all of the above.
Maker marked RZM M1/50, which means it was manufactured by Richard Sieper & Sohn, Lüdenscheid.
Eagle is made of silver washed buntmetal, early high quality eagle.
Very good condition, look a lot better in hand, visor cap removed for sure!!
If you like used and 100% untouched this is for you!
