German WW2 Kriegsmarine first pattern tropical pith helmet eagle

One of the hardest Kriegmarine eagles to find. Only used for a very short period of time.

This and more eagles were found with tropical pith helmet shields, awards and other insignia outside Berlin in the Benau area.

We have pictures from the finding but we are not allowed to share them in public.

This is really a huge eagle with a width of 110 mm.

Made of brass with hooks on the back which was secured with pins on the helmet.

Good condition. One prong remain intact.
