German WW1 Vaterlandsdank 1914 ring
It's not 100% clear how you got this typ of ring but many believe that if you donated your wedding ring you'd get a non-precious metal replacement like this one.
Some say that people that donated gold and silver to support orphans and widows would get this ring.
It's thought that the Krupp company made these.
Excellent condition.
