This type of eagle is mainly seen on NSDAP political leader visor caps. But also used by for example SA Marine and probably some more branches.

This gold washed eagle was introduced 1939.

Maker marked RZM M1/72, which means it was manufactured by Fritz Zimmermann.

Eagle is made of gold washed aluminium or possibly cupal. Either way it's very high quality.

Near mint condition. Can't get much better than this.
