German WW2 SS/SA/NSDAP First Model Eagle variation

This is a variation we have never seen before. Instead of the regular prongs there is hinge, catch and pin system.

This eagle could have been used as an early "NSDAP Hoheitsabzeichen" / NSDAP jacket insignia.

Or of course as a cap insignia but we are not sure why it should be removable.

You can clearly see that there never was any regular prongs in place and the hardware is silver washed. So for sure factory made this way.

This version was introduced 1929 and was in use until around 1934.

Stamped buntmetal.

Eagle is in good used condition, look better in hand.
