German WW2 early SS man wall plaque
Very nice plaque that we just got from an estate in Czech republic.
The plaque show an early SS man with the cap and part of the uniform visual.
We have only found this plaque on one other website so it seem pretty rare.
It's non magnetic and have a nice silver wash.
Size roughly 14 x 11 cm, normal size for a plaque like this.
If you have the time it would be very nice to have it mounted on a wooden base, just like the last picture show.
It show some wear etc but displays very well. Note that the silver wash is even on the entire piece, not easy to make a good picture though.
Last picture show exactly the same plaque but mounted on wood and with an inscription. It was sold at auction and had the following description:
A plaque depicting an early 1930s-style SS man to a departing comrade from his colleagues in the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler (LAH).
Kraas would later go on to be the last commander of the 12 SS Panzer Division "Hitler Jugend" and was awarded the Oakleaves to the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross.
This plaque is of course not included in this sale.
